Premier Inn has pulled out of plans to develop a 60-room hotel in Newport city centre. The site, which was a former Yates bar, was granted planning permission in 2012 but has seen multiple delays since. It was originally set to open in 2015, pushed back to 2016, then again to April this year. Then, earlier this year, developers met with Premier Inn representatives to discuss recent concerns raised about the noise levels of nearby club, Warehouse 54.
