Macdonald Hotels reports profit growth as it aims for luxury status

Independent hotel group, Macdonald Hotels, has announced that it has achieved a profit of £4m in the last financial year and has reduced net core debt to a 14-year low. The group, which has 53 hotels and resorts in the UK, Ireland, Spain and Portugal, published its annual results for the year to 30 March 2017. The results showed that the group’s like-for-like turnover was up by 5% to £7.8m and its operating profit was up 8% to £3.2m. Macdonald Hotels and Resorts appoints Milk Jnr’s and Kidworks

Macdonald Hotels and Resorts has appointed Milk Jnr’s & Kidworks to create a check-in pack for younger guests that will be used across the group’s 40 plus properties. The Manchester-based agency specialises in engaging kids activity packs and family solutions. The packs will include various interactive and character based elements for guests aged three to 12 years.
