The Rutland Hotel in Sheffield has been sold to international hotel operator Ellerslie for an undisclosed sum. The four-star hotel is located off Broomfield Road in the university area of Sheffield and has 63 ensuite bedrooms. The hotel was marketed openly at an asking price of £2.65m. Ellerslie has acquired the hotel from Claypenny Hotels Limited in a sale secured by Colliers International. Ellerslie is an established hotel operator and currently owns and operates the Discovery Inn in Leeds city centre.
